Lynn Coyle MM, MMT, MT-BC

Director/Administrator

Education:

Master’s degree in Music Therapy from Illinois State University

Experience:

Lynn has over 20 years experience as a Music Therapist and a healthcare administrator. She has experience working with individuals of all ages and has a deep understanding for their needs and abilities. She brings her experience with non-profit leadership and program development.

Devon Ames

Administrative Assistant

Education:

BS in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Juvenile Law from Salve Regina University

Experience:

Devon has worked in behavioral health for the past 16 years with a focus in residential facilities for both youth and adults with behavioral and cognitive impairments.  She has experience in direct care, billing, behavior analysis and program administration.

Joe Costello

Driver

Education:

Kennett High School

NH Vocational Tech with an Associates Degree in Business and Mechanical.

Williams College Degree in Banking

Experience:

Joe comes tot he ADC with 42 years in retail and commercial banking. He was Vice President of commercial lending covering the northern half of New Hampshire. Joe also spent 3 years as the CEO of the Tri County Community Action Program. Joe spent time in Washington DC and at the White House to obtain funding for the 66 programs that were run at the Community Action Program. Joe also spent 9 years as a Conductor and Manager at the Conway Scenic Railroad. Joe has also spent time as a school bus driver, a limo driver and a 10 wheeler dump truck.

“I have always been a person to help others. The staff and the guests at the Center are a fantastic group. There is a big need in the valley for the ADC. The help and resources it provides to the guests in the community are fantastic. I am proud to be a small part of the ADC.”

Evan Fritz

Maintenance/Facilities
Guest Assistant

Education:

University of Mary Washington

Experience:

Evan has customer service, maintenance and facilities experience while working at Memorial Hospital.

Victorya Gavett

Business Office Manager

Education:

Victorya holds an Associates Degree in Accounting from Kaplan University. She is currently enrolled in the Graphic Design Bachelor’s Degree program at SNHU.

Experience:

Victorya brings to the MWV Adult Day Center over 20 years of cash handling and customer service experience and 12 years of experience in the financial industry, lending, and mortgage lending. She also has supervisory, managerial and food management experience.

Why I Love Working Here:

“I love coming to work everyday and have it not feel like work. Our guests are happy here and I have pride in myself knowing that I am helping to make their day just a little bit better. When you walk through the doors of the ADC it feels like home, like you are with family, and that is my favorite part.”

Elissa Hansen

Guest Assistant

Education:

Medford High School Alumni

Experience:

Elissa brings 30 years of customer service experience and 40 years of equine management to her work at the ADC. Following her retirement, Elissa began work as a Home Health Aide and Personal Care Attendant specializing in older adults’. Elissa is the proud parent of a successful adult son with Asperger’s. When not at the ADC, you can find Elissa hiking with her dogs, camping, kayaking or painting/art.

Beth Hennessy

Community Outreach Coordinator

Education:

BS in Elementary and Special Education, Lesley University in Cambridge, MA

MA in Special Education and Counseling, Saint Joseph University, West Hartford, CT

Experience:

Beth has had a full career in teaching and school administration. She enjoys being outside and volunteering.  Beth’s own family experience at the MWVADC lends itself to her work with individuals and caregivers who want to learn more about the benefits of Adult Day Center attendance for guests and their caregivers.

Sandra Layne

Experience:

Sandra comes to the MWV Adult Day Center with 20 years experience as an activities director in a Residential Care Facility.

“I ‘tried’ retirement 6 months ago, but truly missed being apart of the ADC family and came back part-time in December.”

Liza Macomber

Guest Assistant

Education:

Liberal Arts Degree from Champlain College in Burlington, VT.

Experience:

Liza has experience and training in working with individuals with dementia and brain injuries. This experience is with in-home care as well as group home settings.

Katie Malia RN, BSN

Staff Nurse

Education:

Bachelors of Science in Nursing from University of Missouri

Experience:

Katie brings her years of nursing experience in working in public health and pediatrics. Katie was most recently a school nurse in the MSAD 72 District.

Debbie Meader

Program Manager

Education:

Bachelors in Social Work from Wheelock College, M.Ed in Counseling from University of New Hampshire

Experience:

Debbie has worked for 30 years mostly at non-profit, social services/human services agencies throughout NH. The majority of those years were right here in the Valley. She has worked with families and children in direct roles as well as many years in Program Management. She has volunteered with many organizations and served on several board of organizations, and currently serves as a Board member for the White Mountain Community Health Center. Debbie has a personal connection with caregiving, and with Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease as both her grandmothers and her father-in-law have been affected.

Why I Love Working Here:

I grew up in this Valley, so it makes me proud to be a part of something that is important to our community members. What makes the Adult Day Center wonderful is the true support and services it gives to our guests and their caregivers. I have already seen what a difference the ADC makes in their lives. Incy S. Muir RN, BS, MPA, NEA-BC

Staff Nurse

Education:

Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Nursing from Boston University, and a Master of Public Administration, with a Health Care Administration concentration, from the University of Hartford.  Board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Nurse Executive-Advanced.

Experience:

Incy brings over 40 years of nursing experience in the field of non-profit home health and hospice.  She served for 26 years as the CEO of a non-profit home health and hospice agency in New England with a strong commitment to providing the best possible care and support of community residents and their families in their home setting.  She then widened her experience by providing regulatory and accreditation compliance consulting services for home health and hospice organizations across the country.

“It is a personal and professional joy to be touching the lives of our guests and their families in this special and beautiful setting and making a positive difference.  Our entire team focuses on making each and every day a happy one.  It is so rewarding to hear our guests say how much they love coming to the ADC and what a good day they had.”

Michael O’Donnell

Assistant Program Manager

Education:

Bachelors of Social Work from Rhode Island College; Cum Laude

Experience:

Mike has been in human services for over 20 years and most recently as a teachers assistant at a school for autistic children. Mike also comes to the MWV Adult Day Center with 11 years as a service coordinator at another Adult Day Center.

Why I Love Working Here:

“My meme lived to be over 100 years of age and was empowered by caring people who understood the importance of not forgetting seniors, developmentally disabled or individuals who choose to isolate themselves from the world outside. I want to empower those who need to be remembered and through the Mount Washington Valley Adult Day Center that is possible.”

Pat Thorney RN, BSN, BS, MA, CLNC

Staff Nurse

Education:

Pat received her BS in nursing from Quinnipiac University and is a Nationally Certified Legal Nurse Consultant. She holds a BS in Education and a MA in Educational Psychology from UConn and Certification in Outdoor Leadership from the Wilderness Education Association.  

Experience:

Pat has over 11 years of nursing experience in Rehabilitation, Home Health/Hospice, Primary Care and Triage during the Covid-19 pandemic. Since 2000, Pat has been owner and CEO, Extreme Potentials, a management, educational consulting business implementing programs for medical, EMS, corporate, civic, educational, governmental, and spiritual groups utilizing indoor and outdoor adventure training and nurse consulting.

Pat is a volunteer for Tin Mountain Conservation Center and has volunteered for numerous rescue and recovery, ambulance service and facilitated emergency preparedness committee member and triage. She has SWOT analysis and strategic planning experience and is committed to the health and well-being of her community.
